1. Open and unlock 1Password, select the Login item for the website, then click Edit.
2. Click the item detail menu to the right of a new field and choose One-Time Password.
3. Click to open the QR code scanner window.
4. Drag the QR code from the website to the scanner window.

   If you can’t drag the QR code, most sites will give you a string of characters you can copy and paste instead.

5. Click Save.

2. Tap “Add new one-time password”.
3. Tap to scan the QR code from another device.

4. Tap Done.

Tip

To automatically copy one-time passwords to the clipboard after filling a login, tap Settings > Password AutoFill and turn on Auto-Copy One-Time Passwords.

Now Scan QR Codes. Once QR code scanning is turned on just launch the Camera app and aim your iPhone or iPad at a QR code. You’ll see a banner alert triggered by the code telling you what action.

3. Click and choose “From my screen” to scan the QR code.

   If you can’t scan the QR code, make sure it’s visible when you minimize 1Password. Alternatively, most sites will give you a string of characters you can copy and paste instead.

4. Select Save.

3. Tap to scan the QR code from another device.

Tip

To automatically copy one-time passwords to the clipboard after filling a login, tap Settings > Filling and turn on “Auto-copy one-time passwords”.

QR codes give you quick access to websites without having to type or remember a web address. You can use the Camera app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to scan a QR code.

1. Open the Camera app from the Home screen, Control Center, or Lock screen.
2. Select the rear facing camera. Hold your device so that the QR code appears in the viewfinder in the Camera app. Your device recognizes the QR code and shows a notification.
   
3. Tap the notification to open the link associated with the QR code.
